We a group of organisations involved in the campaign to stop deaths in custody who have come together to form the National Stop Deaths In Custody Coalition
The National Stop Deaths In Custody Coalition was formed in 2013 when the Far North Queensland Deaths In Custody Watch Group, Indigenous Social Justice Association – Melbourne, Indigenous Social Justice Association – Sydney and the Deaths In Custody Watch Committee (WA) agreed to form a national stop deaths in custody network, to both enable national scope campaigns on deaths in custody issues and also to encourage regions across Australia to establish regional Stop Deaths In Custody groups.
